Assam CM Addresses Major Financial Scam

In a recent statement, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed a significant financial scam that has shaken the state. The scam involves Bishal Phukan, who allegedly collected several crores of rupees from around 200 individuals by promising high returns through stock market investments. This case has also implicated several well-known artists from Assam’s film industry.
Currently, the Assam Police’s special investigation team is handling the case. However, Chief Minister Sarma has assured the public that if the team is unable to resolve the matter, the case will be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further investigation.
